A youth group for young people aged 11-18 with weekly evening meetings and monthly weekend activities.
Facilities include: pool table, PS4, table tennis, tuck shop, craft activities and more... Plus our youth workers are on site to offer support and guidance if needed. We aim to provide our young people with as many different experiences as possible in order to build self esteem, learn new skills and build positive relationships.

A chance to socialise outside of school and explore some new found independence in a safe and welcoming environment.
Kids club provides Youth Workers with an opportunity to work with younger members of the community and introduce them and their families to the opportunities offered by SMYP from an earlier age.
Indoor climbing group open to young people of all abilities aged 11+
Climbers work their way through their SMYP Climbing Log Books to track their progress and achievements on our weekly trips to local indoor climbing walls.
During school holidays we travel further afield and test our skills at outdoor crags.
Climbing is a unique sport with numerous benefits of which we have seen first hand in our other targeted youth work projects - Climbing Club was set up in order to make this experience more accessible to other young people in our area.
Bible study open to all ages. An opportunity to explore christianity in a relaxed and open environment.
An hour and a half of sharing a meal, playing some games, receiving input and discussing biblical themes.
We hold monthly trips and events aimed at our youth club members but open to anyone aged 11+. Previous examples of trips include an evening's bowling, a days bushcraft or a weekend camping and outdoor activities.
School holidays also provide a great opportunity to build relationships, develop skills and boost confidence and our holiday activity programmes are designed to do just that.
